Sleeper allows you to set a hotkey which will dim the screen, power down Energy Star monitors, and spin down the hard disk immediately. This is useful if you know you won't be working on your Macintosh for some of time.
In addition to supporting Sleeper's internal dimmer, the hotkey will work with After Dark or any other screen saver that supports the SAVC gestalt selector.

Setup
To turn on Sleeper's hotkey, click on the Hotkey tab in the Sleeper control panel, and turn on the Activate sleep with hotkey checkbox. The hotkey is displayed in the box in the Sleeper control panel, as shown above. To change or erase the hotkey, click on the Set Hotkey button. The following dialog box will be displayed:

To set a new hotkey, just type the keys you want to use. To keep your old hotkey setting, click Cancel with the mouse. To run Sleeper with no hotkey at all, click the No Hotkey button.
